Sherry Hakimi is a consultant at CLA. Her career spans the corporate, non-profit, academia, and government sectors. Directly prior to joining CLA, she worked in economic development for the City of New York, where she led strategic planning efforts for multiple City entities and incorporated Adaptive Leadership into the strategic planning process. At CLA, she works across the spectrum of leadership and organizational development issues, but places special focus on entrepreneurship, government, and women in leadership.
Sherry holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, as well as a BA in International Development and BBA in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She is an active member of the Iranian American community, and continues to advise and work with several nonprofit Iranian diaspora organizations.
A New England native (and avid Patriots fan), Sherry enjoys traveling, yoga, culinary experimentation (with a Persian specialty), lively foreign policy discussions, and running in Central Park.
