Rick Torseth

For 25 years, Rick has been coaching and consulting leaders who work in fast-changing environments and who face wicked problems. Rick has helped develop leaders and facilitated problem-solving teams within the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Health, Global Development and US Programs sectors over 11 years. He has designed and co-facilitated leadership programmes, and coached individuals and groups in UK local government, NGOs, foundations, and large US healthcare systems. He has been a keynote speaker and plenary facilitator for industry groups. Rick holds a MSc in Consulting and Coaching for Change from Said Business School at Oxford University and HEC Paris. His dissertation, Adapting Adaptive Leadership explores how leaders can build their capacity to effectively act and produce positive results in environments of rapid change inside the constraints of limited time and resources. Rick is the current Chair of the Change Leaders alumni group affiliated with the Consulting and Coaching for Change programme.
